Natural stones are products of nature, & as such no two pieces are exactly alike. Variation in colour, texture and veining are natural characteristics.

For estimates on natural stone benchtops or applications, we will require the full name, block number, & slab number(s) if applicable of the natural stone you have selected for your job, along with the company name of the supplier where you have made your selection.

Sensa Natural Stone maintenance – FAQs

Q1: In case of damage, how do I repair the surface?

Due to the high absorption capacity of the product (up to 5 mm), no action would be required in most cases. Only in extreme cases, should the product be re-applied. In any case, it is advisable to have this task carried out by a specialist in order to achieve the best results.

Q2: Can I place hot objects directly on a Sensa surface?

Do not place very hot objects directly on the benchtop. It is recommended to use trivets when placing hot objects on the surface in order to avoid damaging the stone.

Q3: My Sensa surface has been scratched with a metal container. How do I clean it?

The scratch has left a metal mark on the surface. So cleaning is needed to get the metal stain out. To do this, dilute a metal cleaner with water and use the mixture with a wet blue scouring pad (always in a circular motion). You can also use cleaning vinegar or an anti-limescale product.

Q4: Can I use Sensa to clad floors and walls?

Yes, Sensa can be used for both flooring and wall cladding. But please note that due to the anti-stain treatment of the stone, in flooring areas with high traffic, it will eventually deteriorate.

Q5: Can I clean Sensa with bleach?

The use of bleach or other aggressive cleaning products is not recommended.
